'Abraham' ABMFY3255

Abraham is a 'once in a lifetime' buck fondly known as 'Mr Fixit'.  Son of Banjo and packed with meat and hard muscle, Abraham is following on with his father's good work.  Not only does he pass on his meaty attributes to all his progeny, whether male or female, he also 'fixes' faults.

We rely on him to correct horns, legs, teats and body structure.  In fact he is awarded any does with problems which need rectifying!  However, this has not prevented him from producing top kids in his own right.

Since winning his class at the National Show in Sydney as a kid in 2004, Abraham has rarely entered the showring having lost a tooth (which makes him ineligible to compete). Abraham has sired many of Terraweena's up and coming show team.

Although this also applied at the National Show here in Toowoomba in March 2006, Judge Kobus Lotter told us after the show that 'Abraham was the buck he would like to take home.

'Sampson' ABMFY3056

Bred through Lyric, son of Warlord, the 2003 National Champion, and an older Terraweena doe, the resultant Sampson has been an invaluable attribute as an outcross to the Terraweena/Lawrence lines.

Sampson breeds length and style.  Although he is not in the same 'meaty' league as the Terraweena animals, the crossing of the two lines has proven its worth over and over again.

In the 2006 breeding season Sampson ran with the older Terraweena does to develop and consolidate the original Terraweena lines. This was planned to keep the two lines separate for the ongoing use and longevity of the genetic strains.

Sampson's length cannot be overlooked and he has bred some outstanding progeny.

Queensland Junior Champion Buck in 2004, Sampson has been a regular fixture in our show team since that time. He is a remarkable sire covering large numbers of does in an exceptionally short space of time, which facilitates management of the kids.
