Wanstead is the most recent addition to properties under the management of ABS.  The property was purchased by BMW farms, of the Philippines in October 2007.  It is regarded as one of the premier properties in the region and is fast becoming a favourite amongst Terraweena staff given its ‘State of the Art’ nature.

This property was purchased as the home of Terraweena International, with an expansive future in mind.  

Wanstead is predominantly a large scale cultivation block with ample irrigation.  The use of two large irrigators ensure the stock are always well catered for. The handling and yard facilities are state of the art, allowing ease of handling of all types of stock.

Although largely cultivation, given the property's expanse, we are able to run large numbers of stock on the property for long periods of time.

The property is located in the centre of ABS’s other enterprises and, given the property's diversity, it is the perfect complement to the previously existing infrastructure.  Stock can be moved easily from property to property, in some cases by walking, utilising all available feed and catering to changing circumstances.

The property is currently being developed to cater for the addition of Dorper sheep, due to be born in August, and larger numbers of cattle, in keeping with growing demand in these areas.
