Terraweena at duskThis property is the second property in the company's history to be named ‘ Terraweena’.

The first Terraweena was the stud's first home in, Keith, South Australia which provided an idyllic setting for the birthplace of Australia’s inaugural stud. From this property the name 'Terraweena' was derived.
Upon the stud’s relocation to the Darling Downs in 2002 and the subsequent purchase of more property in Queensland, It seemed fitting that the most picturesque property belonging to the company inherited, the stud’s name.

Terraweena is located only 10 kms from Wanstead and 20 kms from Terraweena entranceTerra Q and Terramore.

The property is nestled in a well protected valley and is almost completely surrounded by the hills of the Darling Downs.  Of particular attraction to us is the property’s blends of cultivation and well timbered hills providing an abundance of browse and rocky out crops creating an ideal natural habitat for goats.  The natural shelter and water spots allow the goats to grow and flourish under large scale, free range management.

Originally purchased to cater for the stud's growing numbers of purebreds, the property is now run as the company's crossbreeding Stock grazing the hillsfacility.  It's close locality to the other properties allows for an easy and comprehensive tour for overseas visitors with time restraints wishing to see the purebred and crossbreeding operations.

Terraweena is a favourite amongst staff due it its picturesque location and far reaching vistas.

It is rare that a visitor to the property is not struck by Terraweena's appeal.
