here at Terraweena, we would like to welcome you to our 3rd Annual On Farm
Production Sale.
It is with
mixed sentiments that we present this year's draft to the marketplace - satisfaction,
due to the high standard of ewes on offer at this sale, but also an element of
sadness due to this being a dispersal sale. Difficulties that arise from
half the partners living in Namiba has led to an entirely amicable agreement to
disperse the Amani White Dorper Stud over two stages.
As in all
dispersals, this offers an outstanding opportunity for breeders who can now
acquire genetics that would otherwise be unavailable to the marketplace.
This particular
genetic line comes directly from the bloodlines of Peet Cilliers who needs no
introduction, already being recognised as one of South Africa's most noted
breeders. Peet holds the current world record price for the sale of
a stud ram. Although the animals on sale are all strictly Cilliers
bloodlines, there is enough of a diversity on offer to appeal to
all breeders. We have every confidence that these
genetics will provide immeasurable benefit to your existing herds.

this sale the yearling ewes and rams will be presented as a final clearance of

ewes and Terraweena's top sires.

All animals
purchased at this sale will have registrations completed and transferred at the
request of the purchaser to all members of the association.

EWES ON OFFER
All ewes on
offer have been joined to Amani 8089 "Figgi Figgi" (2009
National Reserve Junior Champion Ram). Whilst every effort has been made
to ensure pregnancies, and whilst these ewes come with a breeding guarantee,
they do not come with a pregnancy guarantee.
These ewes
are presented here unscanned simply given that all resulting pregnancies are too
young to observe.
